I'm a programmer. I make things for the web. I believe in functional design's capacity to change society and I'm particularly interested in hyperrational approaches to design.

I studied computing at Imperial College, London. My dissertation was on Social Software - you can read it here. I have a semi-updated list of projects i've been involved in.

Right now I work as a web application developer at last.fm - a social music platform based in the UK. I develop for the web because I believe small groups of pragmatic people can interact with other small groups to accelerate software innovation.
