Wow. I last checked up on Shiira a couple of months ago and posted on it over at kontent. I was impressed with the seed they'd planted. Since then it seems to have been coming along nicely, and the project's very nature - an open-source Cocoa web browser - is great news for all Mac users. It was started by a bunch of Japanese Objective-C hackers and it's grown into a serious Firefox killer for OS X (Hey, i'm all for Firefox, and XUL is a great way to get a developer community involved, but Aqua is a cut-above). I strongly advise you to check out version 1.1, and if you want to pick up Objective-C then this is a must-get-involved project far as i'm concerned.
